How do you tell a true believer?
By Lover of Words

You can tell a tree by its fruit. Jesus Christ is the Tree of Life, and if a person is a true believer, they will be trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD. Just like you can tell an orange tree by its fruit…you can tell a minister, sent from God, by his converts. Look around them and study their followers. Do they love one another? Do they love Jesus with all their heart and encourage others to have a personal relationship with him? Do they speak from the Word of God, or are they only using worldly knowledge.

What type of power do they have? Are they empowered by the Holy Spirit, speaking living words that unlock the chains and bonds of sin and ignorance, or are they placing people in bondage? Every good tree bringeth forth good fruit: but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. (Matt 7:17-20) Can you pick olives from a fig tree or figs from a grapevine? No, and you can’t draw fresh water from a salty pool.(James 3:12) For by their fruits you shall know them.
